United Strollers: The Stroll tomorrow, Monday 10 September, will be led by Philip Revill, in the Wickwar area and hoping to get as far as Yate Court, depending on weather and ground conditions. About 4 miles, with a moderate ascent and descent. Lunch at the Wickwar Deli. Meet at church at 10.30am or at Wickwar Town Hall at 10.45am.
Lighthouse Bookshop, Dursley: The Trustees of the Lighthouse Bookshop have written to say 'We are currently looking for a new Manager, someone with enthusiasm and a passion for this kind of Community outreach, which has been successfully serving the Community for 20 years. We sell Christian books, cards, gifts and refreshments, in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. We would also welcome change if need be to meet the ever changing needs of the Community. We are also looking for more Volunteers in the shop for either regular work or for relief work to help keep the Lighthouse afloat.' Details on the noticeboard, or contact Alan Jackson.
